Condition
The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) checks the signal in the signal cable from the microphone.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal is too low in the signal cable from the microphone.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the microphone and the control module.
- Short-circuit between the signal cables to the microphone.
