Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B1D0311
Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) supplies voltage to the main beam circuit directly via an output.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal too low on the output.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
- Activated main beam.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- The function (the output) turns off during the driving cycle when fault is detected. The function (the output) switches off permanently after 100 operating cycles where the fault was detected. Erasing trouble codes as well as start of new driving cycle resets the output.
Possible source
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
Fault symptom[s]
- Headlights/Does not work
- Warning lights and chimes/Glow plug indicator indication/no indication
- Text window and warning symbol/Text message
