Condition
Motor 4 controls the height of the front edge of the seat.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- No hall sensor pulse at activated motor.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Motor 4 activated.
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Damaged hall sensor in engine 4.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
- Open-circuit in the signal cable to the Hall sensor.
