Checking the component
Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) for counting how many times it has been reset. A reset takes place when Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) loses the supply voltage. In turn, this may be due to the battery in the vehicle being in poor condition or that the voltage has been lost in some other way.
Check the voltage by clicking on the symbol for VCT2000 and read out the value of the battery. If the battery is poor, replace it. Check if there are other reasons for Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) having lost voltage. Chafing on the cable harness or that the battery is disconnected, several times, are examples of other causes.
Remedy as necessary.
