Checking Parking Aid Camera
Troubleshoot connector #C2 on Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) for loose connection or oxidation.
Troubleshoot cable to the rear camera for open circuit or short-circuit.
Troubleshoot connector on the rear camera for loose connection or oxidation.
Check-measure #C2-3 on parking assistance camera (PAC). Value varies normally between 0 - 12 V.
Check-measure the video signal between #C4-2 (-) and #C4-4 (+). Values shall vary between approx. 0-500 mV.
If no faults are found, take action in the following order:
Try with changing rear camera.
If that does not help, replace the parking assistance camera module (PAC).

Verification
Access to the vehicle is necessary for the following checks.
- Activate parking camera in the menu.
- Activate distance information in the menu.
- Ignition position II or engine running.
- Engage reverse gear.
Check that:
- An image of what is behind the vehicle is shown on the front display screen.
- Help lines change when the steering wheel is turned.
- Help lines are shown for the vehicle's lateral position as well as bars for any objects behind the vehicle.

Is the function OK?
