Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PAC-B12C031

Condition
Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) communicates with the side view camera. Video transmission uses LVDS-signal.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- No video signal from side view camera.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible source
- Loose connection or oxidation in connections to side view camera.
- Open circuit or short-circuiting on cable to side view camera.
- Damaged side view camera.
- Side view camera missing.
- Damaged Parking Assistance Camera (PAC).
