Condition
Rear seat entertainment module (RSE) checks that compatible screen is installed.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The screen's serial number cannot be read within 25 seconds.
- The screen's serial number cannot be found in the list of approved serial numbers.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Engine running for at least 30 seconds.
- Control module supplied with power.

Possible source
- Left screen has an invalid serial number.
If DTC RSE-B125E4A is stored together with DTC RSE-B125E95 the cause of the fault may be one of the following:
- Open-circuit on the local CAN network.
- Short circuit to ground or voltage on the local CAN network.
