Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) checks the function of Mass Movement Sensor Module (MMS) via control messages. At activation, the Mass movement sensor module (MMS) checks its internal function with a test.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Central electronic module (CEM) receives an error message from Mass movement sensor module (MMS)that the internal control has failed.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activation of the sensor.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
