Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B123387
Condition
The Central Electronic Module (CEM) both transmits and receives information via a standardised serial communication method - LIN (Local Interconnect Network).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Communication with Mass Movement Sensor Module (MMS) is lost for more than 1 second.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activation of the alarm function.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Open circuit on the voltage feed to Mass Movement Sensor Module (MMS).
- Open circuit on the ground cable to Mass Movement Sensor Module (MMS).
- Contact resistance in the terminals.
- Mass movement sensor module (MMS) not working.
