Condition
The Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the voltage over motor closing, boot lid.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Direct current (DC) is too high.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated closing of the tailgate's lock unit.

- Cable for supplying power to the boot lid closing motor has a short-circuit to voltage.
- Internal fault in motor closing, boot lid.
