Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B10EF12

Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the sun roof module (SRM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal too high on the circuit for the speed signal for the sun roof.

Note! The diagnostic trouble code may also be stored in vehicles without a Sun Roof Module (SRM). This is because the speed signal can also be used for the taxi meter in taxis, for example.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Vehicle speed exceeds 0 km/h.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- The function (the output) turns off during the driving cycle when fault is detected. The function (the output) switches off permanently after 100 operating cycles where the fault was detected. Erasing trouble codes as well as start of new driving cycle resets the output.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s]
- Auto-close function of sunroof does not work
