Fault-Tracing Information

Fault-tracing

Checking the connectors
The central electronic module (CEM) receives two collision output signals from the supplemental restraint system module (SRS). A signal is communicated via CAN. The second signal is a directly connected signal between the central electronic module (CEM) and the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
This diagnostic trouble code indicates that both signals are incorrect.

Troubleshoot as follow:
- Check the power supply to the Supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
- Check the ground lead to the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
- Check the connectors and cables between the central electronic module (CEM) and the supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
Remedy as necessary.
