Condition
The climate control module (CCM) communicates with the damper motor module (DMM) defroster via the LIN bus 2. The damper motor module (DMM) transmits information to the climate control module (CCM) about status.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Damper motor module (DMM) defroster has a malfunction.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position I and II.
