Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-B103C16

Condition
The Central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the Left headlamp control unit (LHCU). The left headlamp control unit (LHCU) checks the headlamp motors.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- Voltage error in the Left headlamp control unit (LHCU).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on or engine running.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Constant light beam length will be used.
- Side control freezes straight ahead.

Possible source
- Incorrect voltage supply to the Left headlamp control unit (LHCU).
- The voltage feed cable is short-circuited to ground or voltage.
- Damaged Left headlamp control unit (LHCU).

Fault symptom[s]
- 9T, Headlights/Vertical adjustment not influenced by steering wheel
- DC, Headlights/Headlight aim is off
- IV, Text window and warning symbol/Text message
