Checking components and connections
Check that the components included in the occupant weight sensor (OWS) system are correctly installed.
If no fault is found, replace the occupant weight sensor (OWS).
Replacing a component
- Ignition off, wait for 15 seconds.
- Replace the occupant weight sensor (OWS).
Note! After replacing the occupant weight sensor (OWS), the occupant weight sensor (OWS) must be calibrated.

Hint: After carrying out the repair check that the fault has been remedied.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds.
Read diagnostic trouble codes by clicking the VCT2000 symbol.
If the fault is intermittent, the fault has been remedied.
