DESCRIPTION:
When driving at a constant speed with small throttle angle, a vibration or jerk may occur at different speeds and in different gears.

This might be due to the tires.
If the tires are from different brands, have different tire wear or with different rolling circumference, the Differential Electronic Module (DEM) interprets this as a spare wheel on the vehicle and tries to compensate to get the wheel speed correct on all four wheels.

SERVICE:
Check for applicable software (SW) for DEM and Transmission Control Module (TCM), and if found download according to VIDA.

If you still have vibrations, remove the fuse to the DEM and see if the vibrations are gone.
If they are, check wheels for brand and that they are marked exactly the same on all four wheels.

If you have the same brand and same size/ specification/ markings on the tires, the easiest way to check height differences is to check the tread depth or the circumference of the tires.

If it is more than 3mm difference in height, test drive the car with a set of wheels from a good car.

VSTG OPERATION NUMBER:
If it is determined that tires are the root cause for the symptom due to different brands, different tire wear, or different rolling circumference, then the diagnosis and repair of this is not covered under warranty.
