DRL = Daytime Running Lights
ICM = Infotainment Control Module
DESCRIPTION: The menu item for turning off DRL is missing in the ICM (The Sensus MY CAR menu, as described in the owners manual).
SERVICE:
Temporary: To restore the menu item, load Software Product "Low Beam Application 4":
- S60 and XC60: Software Product 31288018
- S80 and XC70: Software Product 31384097
This should only be performed for customers that specifically request the ability to turn off their DRL.
Note that DRL are mandatory in Canada; this software may not be installed on Canadian vehicles.
This Software Product will result in:
- DRL are off in Auto Position.
- DRL can be turned on or off in 0 Position via the menu item.
Permanent:
A new ICM software is being developed as a permanent solution which will restore the originally intended behaviour:
- DRL can be turned on or off in Auto Position via the menu item.
- DRL are off in 0 Position.
This TJ will be updated when the new ICM software is available.
