DESCRIPTION:
The speed limit displayed on the Sensus Navigation screen reads higher than the posted speed when driving in Canada. This is because the Canadian speed limits, which are included as part of the map data,
are stored in the wrong format.
PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
A new map set has been introduced in production from structure week 2012W48 which includes the corrected speed limit information for Canada. All MapCare upgrades from that point forward will have the corrected data as well.
SERVICE:
Performing the latest MapCare upgrade using disc set part # 31358443 will correct the speed limit issue as well as upgrade the maps for the customer.
All vehicles affected by this error should be eligible for a free MapCare upgrade.
These discs were mailed to registered MapCare customers in December 2012.
Please refer to TJ 26064 for instructions and further details regarding the upgrade.
