Removal

Disconnect the negative battery lead.

Information about the handling and storage of pyrotechnic SRS components.

Remove the side panel at the front edge.

Torque: Seat belt pre-tensioner to body, 4 Nm










Detach the connector.

Torque: Safety belt retractor front to body, 40 Nm

Installation

Install in reverse order.
Check the seat belt function.

Carry out an inspection.
