Removal

Drain the refrigerant from the AC system Refer to: Refrigerant, draining Refrigerant, Draining.





Remove the upper torque rod Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S5 Upper Torque Rod.
Torque: M8, 24 Nm


















Torque: M6, 10 Nm





For vehicles with rear AC
Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure

Vacuum pump the AC system. Refer to: Vacuum pumping Vacuum Pumping.
Fill the AC-system with refrigerant. Refer to: Refrigerant, filling Refrigerant, Filling.
Leak-trace the air conditioning system. Refer to: Leak tracing, fluorescent tracing agent / UV lamp Leak Tracing, Fluorescent Tracing Agent/UV Lamp.
Carry out a performance test on the climate control system. Refer to: Climate system, performance test Climate System, Performance Test.
