Drain the refrigerant from the system. Refer to: Refrigerant, draining Refrigerant, Draining
Remove the right headlight. Refer to: Headlight/bulb, replacing Headlamp/Bulb, Replacing
Torque: M6, 10 Nm
Remove the upper torque rod. Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S5 Upper Torque Rod
Torque: M6, 10 Nm
For vehicles with rear AC
Torque: M6, 10 Nm
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Vacuum pump the A/C system. Refer to: Vacuum pumping Vacuum Pumping.
Fill the AC-system with refrigerant. Refer to: Refrigerant, filling Refrigerant, Filling
Leak-trace the air conditioning system. Refer to: Leak tracing, fluorescent tracing agent / UV lamp Leak Tracing, Fluorescent Tracing Agent/UV Lamp
Carry out a performance test on the climate control system. Refer to: Climate system, performance test Climate System, Performance Test
