Connecting the breakout box
- Ignition off
- Remove fuse 11A/4 in the fusebox in the engine compartment
- Remove the rear view mirror. See Upper electronic module (UEM)/rearview mirror, replacing Upper Electronic Module (UEM)/Rearview Mirror, Replacing
- Remove the cover from the back of the rear view mirror
- Disconnect the control module connector.
Connect adapter 951 1463 Adapter 22-16-14 pin 951 1463 Adapter 22-16-14 Pin to the upper electronic module (UEM) connector. Connect breakout box 981 3190 Replaced by 9511428 981 3190 Replaced by 951 1428 or breakout box 951 1428 Breakout box 951 1428 Breakout Box and wiring 951 1499 Cable 951 1499 Cable to the adapter.
Disconnect the breakout box in reverse order.
