- Route the connector down to the control module.





- Connect the connector (1) to the control module.





- Route the connector (2) by the side of the centre console.

Steps 44-48 apply when connecting to the USB/iPod player located in the glove compartment.




- Remove the nine screws, route the glove compartment straight out and disconnect the connector.





- Mark as illustrated on the outside of the glove compartment's end.
- Pre-drill using a - 2.5 mm (3/32") bit.
- Drill using a -30 mm (1 3/16") hole saw.
- Smooth off the hole edges.





- Route the cable for the USB/iPod under the carpet along the outside of the tunnel console.





- Route the cable through the drilled hole.
- Thread the rubber grommet on to the cable and secure in the hole. The cable must protrude about 250 mm.





- Secure the cable using a cable tie on the damper spring's eyelets.
- Reinstall the glove compartment.

Steps 49-57 apply when connecting to the USB/iPod player located in the CD compartment under the armrest.




- Pull the handle, move the tunnel compartment backward and lift it away.





- Remove the cover. It shall not be re-used.





- Remove the two screws and the contact plate.





- Measure the front of the CD compartment as illustrated.
- Pre-drill using a - 2.5 mm (3/32") bit.
- Drill using a -30 mm (1 3/16") hole saw.
- Smooth off the hole edges.






Applies to cars without holes in the bottom of the tunnel compartment.
- Measure the bottom of the tunnel console as illustrated.
- Pre-drill using a - 2.5 mm (3/32") bit.
- Drill out the hole. Use a -30 mm (1 3/16") diameter hole saw.
- Smooth off the hole edges.





- Measure the opening handle of the tunnel console as illustrated.
- Pre-drill using a - 2.5 mm (3/32") bit.
- Drill out the holes. Use a -6 mm (15/64") diameter drill bit.





- Take the blind cover plug and two screws from the kit. Install the blind cover plug on the opening handle.





- Route the USB/iPod cable from the control module up out of the rear section of the tunnel console.





- Route the cable through the drilled holes.
- Thread the rubber grommet on to the cable and secure in the hole. The cable must protrude about 200 mm.
- Reinstall the contact plate.
- Reinstall the tunnel compartment and at the same time place the excess cable under the tunnel compartment.

Applies to all models




- Remove the covers and screws for the grab handle on the A-pillar.





- Pull of the weatherstrip (1) for the door at the A-pillar.
- Pull off the A-pillar panel at the upper edge and then straight upwards to remove it.





- Take the microphone and a 700 mm long piece of foam tape from the kit.
- Tape the piece of foam tape on the cable, starting 90 mm from the microphone.





- Clean the microphone and roof panel in the area illustrated, which corresponds to the size of the double-sided adhesive tape. Use a solution of 25% isopropanol and 75% water, as well as a lint free cloth. Wipe dry carefully, do not rub.
- Allow to dry.

Note! In cases where the area is heavily soiled or treated with cockpit shine, first clean using a washing up detergent.

- Remove the backing tape from one side of the Velcro strip and press it onto the microphone.





- Remove the remaining protective film from the Velcro strip. Press the microphone securely into place.

Note! The microphone must be pointing towards the driver. Make sure that it does not obstruct adjustment of the rear view mirror.





- Route the microphone cable under the rear view mirror's mounting and inside the headlining. Insert the cable using a weatherstrip tool.





- Carefully pull down the headlining and route the cable above it, to the A-pillar.





- Pull the cable down along the A-pillar to the dashboard.
- Cut off two 100x50 mm pieces of foam tape in the middle.
- Secure the cable to the A-pillar using foam tape.

Caution! The inflatable curtain (IC) is located inside the A-pillar panel, it is important that the cable is not positioned on it.





- Cut off one 100 x 50 mm strip of foam tape in the middle.
- Secure the cable on the heater unit using the pieces of tape.
- Route the cable further in towards the center console.





- Take the control panel and a 700 mm long piece of foam tape from the kit.
- Tape the piece of foam tape on the cable, starting 70 mm from the control panel.





- Clean the area on the dashboard as illustrated, which corresponds to the size of the double-sided adhesive tape. Use a solution of 25% isopropanol and 75% water, as well as a lint free cloth. Wipe dry carefully, do not rub.
- Allow to dry.

Note! In cases where the area is heavily soiled or treated with cockpit shine, first clean using a washing up detergent.

Only applies to Right-hand vehicles




- Place the control panel cable in the groove as illustrated.

Applies to all models




- Remove the protective film from the tape on the reverse of the control panel.
- Align and secure the control panel on the dashboard.





- Pull the cable down to the opening in the center console. The cable must be positioned in the upper edge of the opening, approximately 10 mm from the corner.





- Take the control module and cable harness (E) from the kit.
1. Plug in the connector.
2. Lock the catch.

Applies to right-hand drive cars:
- Steps 72-77 must not be mirrored.





- Clean the control module with isopropanol in the areas illustrated.





- Clean the areas underneath the removed radio/A/C unit using isopropanol, as illustrated.





- Take a Velcro strip and cut off two pieces of the same length
- Press the pieces together.
- Cut off two pieces of the same length again at the center.





- Remove the protective film from one side of the Velcro strips which were pressed together.
- Apply the Velcro strips on the control module and press.





- Remove the remaining protective file on the Velcro strips, align and install the control module as illustrated. Press onto the control module so that the tape adheres.





- Take the relay, two foam tape pieces and cable harness (F) from the kit.
- Connect the connectors from the cable harness to the relay.
- Tape the foam tape pieces around the relay.





- Route the two connectors through the centre console and out on the rear side.





- Route the cable harness by the side of the centre console.





- Locate the 4 pin, grey connector for the power supply. It is secured on the thick cable harness under the dashboard.

Note! The pre-routed connector is already connected on certain versions.





- Connect cable harness (F) to the pre-routed connector (1).
- Connect cable harness (E) to the routed cable harness (F).
- Tape one cut piece of foam tape around the connected connectors.
- Secure the connector (2) on the car's existing cable harness using a cable tie.

Note! When the pre-routed connector is already connected, disconnect it and then connect both the connectors from the new cable harnesses.





- Place any excess under the carpet.





- Place the relay with the cable harness at the rear edge of the opening on the center console.





- Connect the connectors for the Bluetooth system:
1. cable harness power supply
2. the microphone
3. the control panel
- Take one of the cut pieces of foam tape and tape around the connectors.





- Tape one cut piece of foam tape around the connectors.
- Place the connectors and excess cables in the bottom of the center console. Check that they do not rub against the bracket edges.





- Connect the gray connector (1) in the new cable harness (F) to the corresponding socket in the media player.
- Connect the gray connector (2) in the new cable harness (F) to connector (3) which was detached from the media player.
- Take one of the cut pieces of foam tape and tape around connectors (2) and (3).





- Connect the connector (1) that was removed from the 12V outlet to the female connector (2) on the routed cable harness (A).
- Connect the remaining connector to the 12V socket.





- Tuck away the surplus cable in the bottom of the center console.
- Tie together with a cable tie.





- Connect the connector that was disconnected from the media player to the connector on the new cable harness (C).
- Take a piece of foam tape from the kit and cut it in the centre.
- Tape one cut piece of foam tape around the connectors.
- Connect the other connector to the media player.





- Connect the remaining connectors.
- Reinstall the radio / A/C unit by first hooking it at the upper edge. Then press upwards and angle the lower section in. At the same time, check that the cable for the control panel is correctly located. See image 71.
- If the radio/A/C unit does not fit at the lower edge, check for trapped wiring.
- Reinstall the screws.
- Reinstall the detached components in reverse order.





- Turn the ignition key to position II.
- Reconnect the battery negative lead.





- Download software for USB and iPod � Music Interface,.

Check the function of the Bluetooth system as follows:




- Turn the ignition key to position I.
- Turn the radio on. Wait 20 seconds.
- Check that the control panel for Bluetooth illuminates. Press the round button (81) in the middle of the control panel. The radio should then mute and a voice should be heard.
- Press the red handset button (2). The voice should now stop and the audio from the radio returns.
