Calibrating the position sensor in the control module




- Check that the gear selector cable is correctly adjusted. Adjust if necessary.
- Ignition on.
- Place the gear selector lever in neutral position (N).
Activate calibration of the position sensor in the control module by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

Attempt New Test - Calibrating the position sensor in the control module

Verification




- Ignition off.
- Wait two minutes.
- Ignition on.
- Move the gear selector several times to all gear positions.
- Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
If present code diagnostic fault code (DTC) remains stored replace the transmission control module (TCM).
