Checking the battery voltage




- Start the engine and let it idle.
- Connect a voltmeter between the positive and negative battery terminals.
The voltage should be normal system voltage.
If voltage is high, check the charging system as described in relevant information.

Was the voltage too high?

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - Troubleshooting information

Troubleshooting indicates that the brake control module (BCM) has previously registered a malfunction, but the malfunction is no longer active.

Continue - No Fault Found
