Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition

The brake control module (BCM) receives wheel speed information for the wheel in question by the wheel sensors, which are housed in the wheel mounting, reading off a toothed wheel on the wheel axle.
If the control module registers that the wheel sensor signal is distorted or interrupted too many times, diagnostic trouble code BCM-C003007, BCM-C003307, BCM-C003607 or BCM-C003907 is generated depending on the wheel sensor.
- BCM-C003007: Wheel sensor, front left
- BCM-C003307: Wheel sensor, front right
- BCM-C003607: Wheel sensor, rear left
- BCM-C003907: Wheel sensor, rear right
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed at speeds over 10 km/h (6.2 mph).

Substitute value
- ABS is blocked.
- TC is blocked.
- SC is blocked.
- AYC is blocked.
- BA is blocked.
- EBD is blocked if two or more wheel sensors are inoperable.

Hint: For information on abbreviations: Brake system, abbreviations, B6324S5 Testing and Inspection

Possible source
- Loose wheel sensor.
- Damaged cables.
- Damaged toothed wheel.

Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- ABS warning light on.
- General warning light is on.
- ABS is not operational.
- Anti-spin is not operational.
- The anti-skid function is not operational.

Note! If the malfunction is intermittent, the ABS warning light will go out when speed exceeds 10 km/h (6.2 mph) in the next operating cycle.
