DESCRIPTION:
From warranty data and customer surveys, Volvo has learned that the auto
up and auto down of the door windows is not always functioning as desired.
The auto up and auto down function can be disabled by 2 main reasons: low
battery voltage supply(including disconnection of the power supply to the
DDM/PDM) and a software download (general).
Which reason may be applicable differs per vehicle.
SERVICE:
To finalize a software download or a repair that caused an interrupted power supply to the DDM/PDM or a repair with disconnected battery,
initiate/calibrate the door windows.
Raise the window to its end position and hold it for one second. Release the button briefly. Raise the front section of the button again for one second.
