DESCRIPTION:

Warranty claims received are indicating the XC60 front headlight side marker indicator bulb that requires a 3W bulb, part number 989794 are being replaced with the XC60 interior lighting 5W bulb part number 989795.

Only the 3W bulb is the required part for the front parking side marker located in the active gas discharge lamp on XC60 Model Years 2010, 2011 and 2012. This 3W bulb is also design to last longer than the SW interior bulb.

Use of the incorrect bulb could cause premature failure thus leading to a repeat repair.

SERVICE: Use only the indicated bulb as per VIDA for replacement.
