Control panel

There are two different types of control panel:
- for power seats without memory
- for power seats with memory.
Power seats without memory
In vehicles with power seat without memory, the control panel is directly connected to the motors and there is no power seat module (PSM).
Power seats with memory
In vehicles with power seat with memory, the control panel is integrated in the power seat module (PSM).
A quick way to check if the power seat has a memory function is to look at the control panel. If the seat does not have memory, there are no memory buttons (1-3) or programming button (MEM). The information describes seats with memory, power seat module (PSM) unless otherwise specified.

The controls are used to transmit input signals to the control module from the user:
- Runs each of the four motors in the direction required.
- Memory buttons. Input signal indicating the position of the buttons (Memory 1, 2 and 3 and the programming button).
The control panel cannot be replaced separately, the entire control module must be replaced in the event of a fault.
There are diagnostics for the control panel.
