INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note! The foam pads must be removed for washing. See washing instructions on the upholstery.





Applies to the S40/V40/V50
- Pull up the head restraint.

Applies to the XC60/V70 (-00)
- Pull up and fold the head restraint forward.

Applies to the V70 (00-)
- Pull the strap, see the owner's manual, to fold the head restraint forward.





- Fold up the child seat and lift it up at the rear edge.





- Attach the padded upholstery on the rear edge of the seat cushion.
- Fold the seat cushion back into place.





- Pull the padded upholstery over the seat cushion's front section and pull the retaining strap (1) under the front edge of the seat cushion.





- Pull the padded upholstery up to the head restraint.
- Secure the padded upholstery's Velcro straps around the strut (1) of the head restraint.

Applies to the S40/V40/V50
- Adjust the head restraint so that it provides optimum protection for the child's head.

Applies to the XC60/V70
- Fold the head restraint up.
