Removal

Remove the following items:
- Steering wheel control module Refer to: Steering wheel control module Service and Repair
- Combined instrument panel Refer to: Combined instrument panel Combined Instrument Panel

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Remove the parking brake rotary switch Refer to: Rotary switch, parking brake Service and Repair

Loosen data link connector (OBD-ii) Refer to: Data link connector (OBD-II) Service and Repair

Remove the following items:
- Loudspeaker, dashboard Refer to: Loudspeaker, dashboard Loudspeaker, Dashboard
- Information and Entertainment Display Refer to: Information and Entertainment Display Information and Entertainment Display
- Floor console Refer to: Floor console, TF-80SC AWD, TF-80SC Floor Console

Vehicles with navigation system

All vehicles

Remove start button Refer to: Start Button Service and Repair

Torque: Panel A-pillar, 3 Nm

Remove glove compartment Refer to: Glove compartment Glove Compartment

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
