INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Applies to right-hand drive cars without headlamp washing
Applies to right-hand drive cars with headlamp washing
Applies to left-hand drive cars
- Remove the taped connector from the cable harness (F).
Applies to right-hand drive cars
- Remove the taped connector from the cable harness (F).
Applies to all models
- Reinstall the bumper cover so that the hooks fasten under the headlamps.
Applies to left-hand drive cars
- Attach the bumper cover in reverse order.
Applies to right-hand drive cars
Applies to right-hand drive cars without headlamp washing
- Attach the bumper cover in reverse order.
Applies to right-hand drive cars with headlamp washing
- Attach the bumper cover in reverse order.
Applies to left-hand drive cars
- Route the cable harness at the existing cable harness.
Caution! Make sure that the cable is positioned so that it is not damaged by heat or wear.
- Reinstall the headlamp.
Applies to left-hand drive cars with diesel and 6-cyl engines

- Remove the plastic nuts.
- Route the cable harness behind the insulation and further down.
Applies to right-hand drive cars with diesel and 6-cyl engines
Applies to right-hand drive cars
- Route the cable harness from the headlamp and around the air filter housing.
- Route the cable harness by the battery box and along towards the insulation for the cowl panel and further down.
Caution! Make sure that the cable is positioned so that it is not damaged by heat or wear.
- Reinstall the headlamp.
- Route the cable harness inside the insulation and further down under the car.
- Raise the car. Route the cable harness further down.
Applies to all models
- Raise the car.
- Locate the hole for the rubber grommet on the cowl panel.
Note! On certain models this may be covered by the heat insulation.
- Cut off a small rubber nipple. Lubricate the cable harness using soap solution and thread through.
- Route the cable harness into the passenger compartment. Adjust the length.
- Install the rubber grommet and move the heat shield on the cable harness towards the rubber grommet.
- Reinstall the engine splash guard.
- Lower the car.
- Reinstall the engine cover.
Applies to left-hand drive cars
- Take the cable harness (F) connector and connect the terminals

3. Violet (VO)
4. Yellow (Y)
5. White (W)
6. Black (SB)
- Slide the connector's catch back.
Applies to right-hand drive cars
- Take the cable harness (F) connector and connect the terminals in the connector.

- Slide the connector's catch back.

- Place the connector in the holder.

Note! On certain cars there is already a connector connected in the centre outlet. Disconnect this and tape it to the existing cable harness.
- Place the excess inside the insulation.
- Reinstall the disconnected components in reverse order.
- Download the software for the accessory's function.
