INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note! Some steps in these installation instructions are presented with illustration only.

Note! On cars with a subwoofer, a fibre optic adapter cable is required to be able to connect the satellite receiver.





- Turn the ignition key to position 0.

Note! Wait at least three minutes before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.











Applies to cars with subwoofer





- Remove the subwoofer's rear plastic nuts.
- Fold the backrest forward.





- Disconnect the connectors from the subwoofer.
- Remove the screw from the right-hand mounting.





- Remove the screw from the left-hand mounting.






Applies to all models










- Install the satellite unit with bracket on the reverse of the rear backrest.
- Install the screw and torque tighten to 10 Nm (7.5 lbf.ft.).
- Connect routed wiring to the device. In the connection where the device is to be positioned.

Applies to cars with subwoofer
- If the car has a subwoofer a fibre optic adapter cable must be used to connect the units. See step 13.

- Take the fiber optic adapter cable from the kit and connect the male connector to the fibre optic cable (1), which was disconnected from the subwoofer, to the female connector (2) on the adapter cable.
- Connect the remaining connectors on the fiber optic cables for the subwoofer and satellite receiver.
- Connect the remaining connectors that was disconnected from the subwoofer. Ensure that the cables are positioned so that they are not at risk of being cut off.
