DESCRIPTION:
New procedure for adding RTI as accessory for Sensus infotainment system on vehicles after structure week 2010w46.
When performing an accessory navigation (RTI) installation, the download of the ADD RTI software application may fail with error message "Error 131, incompatible HW."
Testing has revealed that this error occurs when the vehicle is in Transport Mode at the time of the download.
SERVICE:
Please follow the below procedure carefully for a successful installation:
1. If the car is in Transport Mode or Factory Mode, set the car in normal mode using VIDA with the original IAM installed
2. Install the new IAM (refer to VIDA for instructions)
3. Download and install the RTI-US/CDN SP that applies to the vehicle you are working on (SP numbers are listed below).
4. If the vehicle is NOT being delivered to a customer, place it back in Transport Mode using VIDA.

Please submit a Technical HelpDesk (THD) Vehicle Report only if the above procedure does not work.

Note:
There are no longer separate SP numbers for Voice Control as this software is now included with
