Description of Frozen Values, ICM
Description of frozen values
Description
Frozen values are parameter values that are stored when a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
Not all parameters can be read out for all diagnostic trouble codes. The parameter values can only be read if they can provide additional information on the prevailing conditions when the code was generated.
Parameters, value
Total mileage
Measurement range: 0 - 1,000,000 km
The value indicates the vehicle's total mileage when the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) was generated.
MECU power supply
Measurement range: 0 - 63 V
Normal range: 12.0 - 14.5 V
The value indicates the power supply to the central electronic module (CEM) when the diagnostic trouble code was generated.
Passenger compartment temperature
Measurement range: -40 till +215 °C
The value indicates the passenger compartment temperature when the diagnostic trouble code was generated.
Outside temperature
Measurement range: -40 till +215 °C
The value indicates the outside temperature when the diagnostic trouble code was generated.
Power supply mode
The value indicates the status of the power supply mode when the diagnostic trouble code was generated.

Number of nodes after ring break
Parameters
- Indicate the status of ring break diagnostic results.
- OK = diagnosis OK
- Diagnosis multimaster = one of more control modules beside the infotainment control module (ICM) thinks it is master node on the MOST network.
- Diag all units slave = all nodes, including the infotainment control module (ICM) think they are slave nodes on the MOST network.
- Poor signal = light intensity is too weak for infotainment control module (ICM) to decode signal
- Undefined = infotainment control module (ICM) cannot interpret result.
Value
Measurement range: 0 to 10.
If the status of the MOST network does not match any of the ring break parameters above, a digit is generated that indicates how many nodes lie after the interruption on the MOST network.
