DESCRIPTION:
In an effort to save labor time reduce inventory carrying costs and improve client service VCNA has developed a method and sourced the parts to service Retailer and Port installed RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) DVD/LCD Electronics Modules only instead of the entire head restraint assembly. If diagnosis indicates that failure is caused by the RSE DVD/LCD
Electronics Module replace the DVD/LCD Electronics Module only. It is no longer necessary to remove the head restraint and disturb the wiring that is installed in the seat upholstery. All work can be performed with the head restraint installed in the seat back.
Note:
As a result of this new method RTJ 20961: Replacement of Accessory Installed Dual DVD/ Screen RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) Head Restraint assembly is only valid if the entire head restraint assembly needs to be replaced or removed.
