DESCRIPTION:
When the Sensus infotainment system starts up the IAM2.1 should report all its internal functions to the ICM. There is a possibility that only two function blocks are reported the diagnostic function and audio dsp (sound for Park Assist Front and Park Assist Rear). When this happens there will be no response when the customer selects for instance radio or any other source supplied from the IAM2.1 unit and there will be no DTC set as the diagnostic function is reported OK to the ICM.
If the car is equipped with DAB-radio (EU) or Sirius-radio (US) they will most likely work as these are separate units on the MOST network.
PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
A new SW has been developed and released for the aftermarket. For production the SW will be released 2011w25.
This document will be updated when the chassis end limits are known.
SERVICE:
Do NOT replace any parts. Upgrade the IAM unit to the latest SW status and check the IAM functions.
NOTE:
The ICM will also be upgraded when IAM is loaded and visa/versa as there are dependencies between the IAM and the ICM in the SW structure.
