Checking front parking assistance camera
Self-test
Infotainment control module (ICM) diagnostic test for front parking assistance camera can only detect faults when a self-test of the control module has been started. A fault code is set if the self-test detects a fault. To start self-test and check fault codes belonging to the front parking assistance camera, proceed as follows:
Rectify in the following order:
- Click on the VCT2000 symbol to start self-test of the control module.
- Go to the tab DIAGNOSTICS/DETAILS and click on Update to perform a new fault code read-out.
- Go to the tab DIAGNOSTICS/TROUBLESHOOT and check if fault codes belonging to the front parking assistance camera have been set.

Press the button for the front parking assistance camera on the Climate control module (CCM).
Is the text "Front Camera" displayed in the top left corner of the screen?
Yes - Fault-tracing
No - Fault-tracing

Clean the camera lens. Use a soft rag or moist sponge, so that it is not scratched.
If this does not help, replace the front parking assistance camera,

The fault seems to be in the button for the front parking assistance camera on the Climate control module (CCM).
