Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-U300362
Condition
Note! This trouble code is only relevant for troubleshooting and action in the following cases:
- The trouble code is active in the present driving cycle and has been active for a longer period of time.
- The customer experiences malfunction that can be attributed to the trouble code.
The Supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks its own system voltage by comparing direct current (DC) voltage with the system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM). Information about system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM) is transmitted via CAN to the Supplemental restraint system module (SRS).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The system voltage differs by more than 2.0 V.
- Incorrect value runs longer than 10 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position II and III.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
