U300362 (Power Seat Module - PSM)
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PSM-U300362
Condition
Note! This trouble code is only relevant for troubleshooting and action in the following cases:
- The trouble code is active in the present driving cycle and has been active for a longer period of time.
- The customer experiences malfunction that can be attributed to the trouble code.
The Power seat module (PSM) checks its own system voltage by comparing the direct voltage with the system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM). Information about system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM) is transmitted via the controller area network (CAN) to the Power seat module (PSM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The system voltage differs by more than 2.5 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
- Supply voltage too low.
Fault symptom[s]
- Power memory seat does not work
