Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CVM-U300362

Condition

Note! This trouble code is only relevant for troubleshooting and action in the following cases:

- The trouble code is active in the present driving cycle and has been active for a longer period of time.
- The customer experiences malfunction that can be attributed to the trouble code.
The Closing velocity module (CVM) checks its own system voltage by comparing the DC voltage with system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM). The information about the system voltage in the Central electronic module (CEM) is transmitted via the CAN network to the Closing velocity module (CVM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The system voltage differs by more than 2.0 V.
- Incorrect value runs longer than 1 second.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The vehicle is in normal mode.
- Engine running.
- The voltage supply to the control module is 9-16 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- City Safety switches off.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.
- The voltage feed cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals.

Fault symptom[s]
- Front monitoring/Active safety/City Safety does not work
- Text window and warning symbol/Text message
