Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information POT-U300316

Condition
Power-Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the battery voltage.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Battery voltage lower than 10 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- The Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) functions stop working. Normal function first achieved when the voltage exceeds 10.5 V.

Possible source
- Poorly charged battery or corroded connecting cables.
- Damaged battery.
