Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information AUD-U210000

Condition
The control module compares its configuration ID with the signal configuration transmitted on the control area network (CAN) by the central electronic module (CEM).

Note! In the event of an open-circuit in both the control area network (CAN) cables, it is not possible to communicate with the control module. Therefore it will only be possible to read off the fault if it is intermittent. When the diagnostic trouble code is generated, the control module answers to the diagnostic commands, however, the normal CAN-communication does not work ("Expulsion-mode").

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Communication with Central electronic module (CEM) is lost.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Start-up of the control module.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Open circuit on the CAN-net between Infotainment control module (ICM) and Central electronic module (CEM).
- Open-circuit on the MOST network between the Infotainment control module (ICM) and the Audio module (AUD).
- The Central electronic module (CEM) is not correctly configured.
- The Central electronic module (CEM) does not transmit the vehicle's signal configuration on the CAN network.
- Infotainment control module (ICM) does not send the vehicle's signal configuration to the MOST-net.
- The Audio module (AUD) is not intended for this vehicle, for example, a used control module with different software/hardware has been used.

Fault symptom[s]
- Speakers/Does not work

Hint: If this DTC is stored, audio profile drivers seat, right and left-hand drive vehicles, can be incorrect.

Hint: If this DTC is stored, other DTCs that can be stored for the headsets probably do not correspond.
