Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The Suspension module (SUM) internally stores, among other things, information about the selected drive mode and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in a data memory.
The control module monitors reading and writing to the data memory.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- No communication with the data memory (EEPROM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Deactivated Four-C function.
Possible source
- Internal memory fault in the Suspension module (SUM).
Fault symptom[s]
- Message in information display
- Four-C function not working
