Diagnostic Trouble Code Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PSCM-U042268

Condition
The control module continually supplies necessary information from the Central electronic module (CEM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the quality of the information from the Central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of information than Power Steering Control Module (PSCM)accepts.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- Incorrect value lasts longer than 2 seconds.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
