Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CVM-U03004A

Condition
The Closing velocity module (CVM) compares its configuration ID with the ID that the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) transmits.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The control module's configuration ID differs from the ID that the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) transmits.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The voltage supply to the control module is 9-16 V.
- The signal configuration is sent to the control module.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Incorrect configuration ID (the control module is not intended for this vehicle, for example it is a used control module with different software/hardware).

Fault symptom[s]
- Front monitoring/Active safety/City Safety does not work
- Warning lights and chimes/Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) indication/no indication
