Fault-tracing

Checking communication
The control modules on the local network sensor CAN can detect short-circuit faults when they send signals. Fault trace the wiring for short-circuits.
Check the CAN communication between the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS), Closing velocity module (CVM) and Occupant Weight Sensor (OWS) (only USA/CAN markets).
If no malfunction is found: Fault trace the Closing velocity module (CVM).

Fault-tracing information
The list below shows which DTCs can be stored on the local network sensor CAN (reservation for future changes/updates). The table indicates where on the local network sensor CAN there may be a fault.
