Condition
If a malfunction of the speed signal is detected in the Transmission control module (TCM), a malfunction message is sent to engine control module (ECM) and a diagnostic trouble code is stored in the engine control module (ECM).
Diagnostic trouble code for the speed sensor's signal is stored in the Transmission control module (TCM).
