Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P089468

Condition

Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status is an event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC). An event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC) does not mean that there is a fault in the control module when it is active, but is designed as information.

The transmission has three clutches. To perform a shift the clutch is pressurized via solenoids that receive signals from Transmission control module (TCM). Linear pressure solenoid SLC2 controls the hydraulic pressure for activating clutch C2.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Output rpm in the transmission is too low compared to the input rpm from the engine side.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Driving with shift to 4th, 5th, or 6th gear.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
