Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PBM-C200812

Condition
Park Brake Module (PBM) supplies voltage to left brake caliper directly via an output.
The control module checks the power level on the output.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- DC voltage is about the same as battery voltage when the output is not active.
- Incorrect signal lasts longer than 0.1 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position 0, I and II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.
- Damaged brake caliper.
